Moisture Analyser

A moisture analyser is a piece of equipment designed to protect moisture-sensitive substances or to dry samples by removing residual water or solvents. It creates a dry, stable environment.
Unlike conventional laboratory balances, moisture analysers incorporate a heating element (halogen or infrared) to remove moisture from a sample by drying. Once the water has evaporated, the instrument calculates the remaining mass and determines the moisture content.
