The choice of construction material for your furniture must correspond to your contamination control strategy.
Controlled environments are subject to numerous and extremely precise specifications.
The choice of furniture within these clean and sensitive environments must both enable cleanroom and laboratory operators to benefit from optimally ergonomic working conditions, and comply with the contamination control process in ultra-clean zones.

AISI 304 / AISI 316 Stainless steel
Easy to maintain and offering good chemical resistance, stainless steel enables the construction of joint-free surfaces, guaranteeing the complete absence of sharp edges and hazardous points for absolute safety. It is a material perfectly suited to laboratories and cleanrooms.
Technical overview: A metallic material composed of various alloying elements. The main element is iron, to which nickel and chromium are added for AISI 304; AISI 316 also contains molybdenum.

Melamine
Easy to maintain and resistant to cracking, scratching and chemical products, melamine offers a good price-to-quality ratio.
Technical overview: A material composed of agglomerated wood particles and two sheets of paper coated with heat-bonding resin.

Laminate
Laminate offers the advantage of greater resistance to impact and scratching, making it an ideal material for surfaces exposed to friction.
Technical overview: A material composed of a stack of kraft paper sheets embedded in thermosetting resin and covered with a decorative sheet protected by a highly resistant finishing layer. The whole is laminated at low pressure.

HPL Compact Laminate
With the same advantages as standard laminate, HPL Compact Laminate ensures the complete absence of particle dispersion.
It is a perfect solution for classified zones, wet areas and areas exposed to impact.
Technical overview: A material composed of a stack of kraft paper sheets embedded in thermosetting resin and covered with a decorative sheet protected by a highly resistant finishing layer.
The whole is compressed at very high pressure and high temperature.

Solid Surface
The properties of resin furniture are identical throughout — both at the core and on the surface. Completely insensitive to moisture, highly resistant to chemical products and available with a Class M1 fire rating on request, this material is primarily reserved for moulded sink worktops and wet benches.
Technical overview: A mineral material, bound by polyester resin, of absolutely homogeneous and non-porous consistency.
