• AISI 430 stainless steel: Although AISI 420 offers high hardness and wear resistance, it is less resistant to corrosion. For trolleys, where mechanical robustness is paramount but exposure to corrosion is moderate, AISI 430 stainless steel is a more economical and sufficient choice. It offers a good compromise between mechanical strength and cost, while being better suited to structural parts that do not require the extreme hardness of AISI 420.
• AISI 304 stainless steel: AISI 304 offers greater corrosion resistance, which is crucial for the castors that are in frequent contact with potentially corrosive environments (humidity, chemicals, etc.). AISI 304 thus ensures longevity and smooth mobility under heavy loads.
