Tableting Training on a Pharmaceutical Rotary Press

The aim of this course is to acquire the skills needed to master the tableting process on a rotary press, in order to optimise pharmaceutical tablet production.

> Materials and formulations: Excipients and their roles / Impact of formulations on tableting
> Introduction to pharmaceutical tableting: Principles of tableting / Types of rotary press
> Tableting parameters: Tableting speed / Compression force and its influence on quality
> Control and quality: Methods for assessing tablet quality / Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
> Practical workshop: Running a tableting operation on a rotary press / Analysing results and troubleshooting
> Assessment: Multiple-choice test at the end of the course / Practical assessment of the skills acquired

Production technicians and operators, quality and R&D engineers, production managers

Experience level:
Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical production and mechanics.
